Day 4 in Paradise

So we are to day 4 now!
DAY 4 IN MAUI
We started the day the best way possible! We got in our suits and walked out the door and headed for our catamaran! We went on the Hula Girl for snorkeling, drinks and lunch. Getting in the water was harder than it should have been. It was really cold and it took me a long time to adjust and calm my breathing. But, once i finally adjusted and could put my face in the water without freaking out because of the cold....IT WAS AWESOME! The first couple of minutes i see a bunch of sea turtles right under me. 5 at a time just right there! It was cool to swim over the coral and fish too. It was surprising to me that the fish didn't swim away. We were so close to them and they didn't seem to care. At one point i was looking at my mom behind me; i turned forward and BAM. A sea turtle 6 inches away from my face. I was startled and tried to back away. You never know what those guys are gonna do! After that, I noticed when the turtles would make their way to the surface for some air. So without getting to close I was able to follow some turtles and be right next to them. Such a cool experience!!!

We also enjoyed some virgin Mai Tai's, lunch on the boat and whale watching!

After our adventurous morning we got back to the hotel around 3pm and took quick naps, took showers, etc. and then headed to lahaina for some more shopping! And that's day 4 on the island of Maui!
