There are little moments in time that make ya proud. For example, i killed a spider with a shoe the other day. I didn't use any raid and i then took that shoe and cleaned the spider off outside. PROUD MOMENT. Also, i was rather bold today with a guy and though it may not turn out to be anything, i still did it and i don't regret it. PROUD MOMENT! It's the little things sometimes. I'm growing up mom!
So anyway, i bought a Guess purse a couple weeks ago from a TJMaxx for like 60% off the normal price that guess purses are, and i loved it, so bonus. So, like 2 weeks after i bought it...i was running into work cuz it was raining and i was a minute late. So, i'm running and the strap breaks and the purse and its contents fall into the puddle and i'm annoyed. Very sad face. So, i took it back and got a full refund, but i loved that purse...
So, i had a great weekend! Friday my roommate and i went to the BYU hockey game. Then we went to our apartment and had hot cocoa and invited people over to watch a scary movie. So i went to bed around 2am and then woke up at 7 to go to a work meeting. Straight from said meeting i went to my friends baby shower. It was dr. suess themed and it was adorable. There were green deviled eggs and such.
After the baby shower i drove up to sandy for my friend Patti's wedding luncheon. It was nice and fun and such, and then Kristen, Mikaele and I went to Tai Pan and browsed. We found some treasures...
Yup, spider hats. So after that, we went to Patti's wedding reception for a few hours and then i jumped in my car, changed in my car and drove to provo for the football game. My lame parents left at halftime so my right side was very cold without their body heat. But, i always have Emily!
So, after the football game, which ended at 11pm, i drove home and hung out with my roommate and friends and finally went to bed at like 2. Had a fun weekend! Woo!
Been watching scary movies and i love it! The apartment is decorated and i love it! Been meeting new friends and i love it! AND, i got my first test in my research methods class back. Got an A! Woo!!!!!!!!
I'll sum it up by saying that LIFE IS GREAT and i love it and i'm happy and yeah...
Oh, and my hair is SO STATICY i want to kill it!!!! I think i may just need a trim, but i hate paying $14 to have my ends cut.
Lame???
ReplyDeleteLaura, my sister just got her hair cut and she has a problem with static-y hair and the lady told her to dry her hair with a microfiber towel. I'll ask her if it helps, but you may want to give it a shot.
