Octobler goodies

So here is what happened the rest of Octobler! A couple days after i got back from California i continued my halloween celebrations! On friday night a group of us went to the Castle of Chaos haunted house in Orem. It was...Well, it's newer so i think it will get better, but it had some great moments throughout. On saturday night my friend Kristen had a murder mystery party - hollywood themed! I didn't get pics of everyone unfortunately, but i got a few. It was a fun evening and after it ended Becca and i watched a scary movie!

Monday night was the singles stake halloween dance. Our ward actually had a really fun time together!

So that was a blasty blast. During all this octobler goodness, i was also playing volleyball every tuesday and thursday night. Becca, Kevin and I went to the castle of chaos in Taylorsville for like $5 and the place was virtually empty since we went on a wednesday night and it was so fun! Friday night was the BYU vs Boise football game and then i had a halloween party to attend afterwards!

It was a blacklight party so everything was a little dark!

The next night Becca and I went to Nightmare on 13th and used our VIP passes from living social and got to skip the massive line! Woo!

On sunday we had our annual Octoblerfest!!! (No alcohol involved..). Everyone dresses up and we have dinner and mingle. It's a joyous time!
 Indiana Jones
 Gypsy

 Maria Von Trapp

 A witch with her newt

On Halloween i stayed in and passed out candy and carved my pumpkin and watched a scary movie!
We got to dress up at work on the 30th and 31st, so i did just that.
Gypsy day one, Teenage Mutant Ninja Tobler on day two

My pumpkin took quite a bit of time...but it turned out great and i loved it!
Here are a few more random pictures from the month...
Becca and i made skeleton shirts and it was a lot of work.
 My Halloween nails
We had gummy teeth at work and i think i worked em! :)
Long story short, Octobler was magnificent!
I went to a haunted house 6 times!
Made some halloween crafts.
Watched scary movies.
I completed my Octobler bucket list!

When September Ends...

So i've been wonderfully busy and haven't had the time to blog.
So here is my catch up post. I present for your reading pleasure (or your "I have nothing better to do") my post about the rest of September.
Having a mother that works for the Management company of Larry Miller has lots of perks.
One of them: they buy tables at events and need people to fill those seats. This instance was the Governor's Gala. So we got fancy and went.

The only pic of all 3 of us there
We later found out we were in the "special" room with the Governor
and all these people and had no idea it wasn't open to everyone.
Thats what happens when you show up on time to places though!

Jeff Foxworthy was the entertainment and boy was he funny live.
He knows a lot about Utah and the culture here.
We were in tears laughing.

Next thing you know, it's rivalry weekend! I hate playing Utah in september. I wish it were back to November like the good days. Especially for a rivalry game; BYU always gets better as the year goes on and Utah usually gets worse. Had we played them now... we would have won. Oh well. We still had fun. :)

Emily and I stunned at by what is seriously happening...
The other good thing about fall is Volleyball. My singles ward plays tuesday nights and my home stake plays thursday nights. So i get to play twice a week and its the best thing ever. Seriously. I'm in heaven when i get to play volleyball. The tuesday nights are a little harder for me since we only play best 2 of 3 games against another ward and have a record that we keep track of so i get frustrated when we lose or when people who don't know how to play show up and i sit on the sidelines from subbing out and can't do anything about it. If you know me, you know i'm competitive and i can't change that. Thursday night is more relaxed and we play for 2 hours just because we love to play.
ANYWAY. THe last weekend of september was a perfect transition to one of the best months of the year...
We went to Nightmare on 13th for $15 and No line. It was perfect. Scary? Of course. Nightmare is one of the best.

Tune back later for some of the best posts this year, because Octobler was PACKED!!!!
