Back on track here folks! So work is work and i work like a fool monday through friday. There are days where it's great and i have a lot of stuff to do and there are days where i'm bored. Woof. It's been nice the past couple months though- the HR lady went on maternity leave so i've taken over her duties which has been cool and fun to see that side of business. It's been a lot of responsibility and i'm glad they trusted me so quickly with the task.
My singles ward is awesome. I just love it. I have friends there and i'm involved in activities and it really makes a difference. You get what you put into it people! Anywho.
So on the 4th i got work off and we hosted the annual bbq and firework party at our house, so we spent all morning in the kitchen cooking and going to the grocery store multiple times. Day time fireworks happened and we just love doing parachutes, snakes, smoke bombs and pop its. It was a fabulous day; the fireworks were magnificent, the food delicious and the company even better. Every year i am so grateful that the booming of the fireworks is a noise of celebration and freedom and not the sound of war. We are so blessed to live in the country that we do and i know there are days where i take that for granted because i don't know any other way, but i do know that i am blessed. Picture time!! Yay!
(Not our toy- just borrowing a ride)
The next day I went back to work (booooo) but they gave out tickets to the bee's game for that night and the game has fireworks after. So we made it a girls night and had a good night!
There were moments of threatening rain and we thought the fireworks might be canceled!
Don't worry - the rain was short and the fireworks happened and they were awesome!!!
"Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just, And this be our motto: In God is our trust! And the star spangled banner in triumph shall wave o'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!"

Do not touch Willie, good advice.
