I've Been Tagged
I was "tagged" to answer these 11 questions about myself. Maybe you'll learn something about me on this stop to my blog. If you are as bored as i am, consider yourself tagged and answer the questions yourself!
1. What one thing do you look forward to everyday?
If only i had a crush on someone right now....
But, i don't. So, i look forward to being with my family. On days that I can't be with them, i call them and talk for awhile about nothing. So, yeah. I look forward to my family everyday.
2. Favorite book besides Harry Potter, Twilight, Hunger Games or religious books?
I LOVED Shutter Island. It uses a swear word quite a few times. I blacked them all out as i read, so if anyone wants to borrow my edited copy, they are welcome to it. I couldn't put it down. Also, i love agatha christie books. My favorites of hers are Murder on the Orient Express, Murder on the Nile, and And Then There Were None.
3. Do you believe in love at first sight?
Nope. I believe in attraction. But, love is something deeper than looks.
4. If you knew you were gonna give up the ghost soon, what would your final meal be?
Give up the ghost, eh? Well, I would want homemade lasagna with french bread. That's my favorite meal!
5. If you could only watch one movie for the rest of your life, what would it be?
One movie: that's easy, CLUE!!! I can watch it everyday for weeks and not get sick of it. There are a lot of movies that i could honestly watch for the rest of my life. I guess i'm easily entertained.
6. If you could only watch one show for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Chuck. Chuck makes my life complete. Totally nerdy, right?! But, seriously. I am giddy when a new episode comes on (sad face that its over). I laugh, I cry, I am in love with Zachary Levi....So, it's a perfect match!
7. What does your perfect Saturday consist of?
A warm sunny saturday in the summer: Sleeping in, french toast breakfast with homemade syrup (store bought is icky), some cleaning while listening to beach boys, running errands with my mom, sitting outside, walking around the block while passing a frisbee or throwing a football, and hanging out with friends.
8. Do you believe in astrology at all?
I want to say no, but there are times that i've checked my sign for a day and it's spot on. And the description of a gemini is so on the nose!
9. If you could live in any time period and in any place, where would you find yourself?
Time period: i think every time period had it's rough things in life so i don't think any decade is more ideal than another. I love being a 90's kid though. The 90's had some of the best stuff. If i had to choose something other than my current situation because i found a time machine and i could go back for a week i would choose the early twenties.
10. What is the best holiday you ever had/ how did you spend it?
Christmas 2005. I was in my senior year of high school and involved in the Madrigal choir. We had to sing at a christmas eve service on christmas eve (naturally) and i wasn't too excited about this. But, i went and we performed and i loved it. Even though i was performing for another religion, we were all celebrating the birth of our savior and i could feel the spirit. After the performance which was downtown my parents and i went to Pf Changs and so started our tradition of going out for chinese on christmas eve. fa ra ra ra ra.
11. What is the best give you have ever received?
I am blessed. Truly. I don't know where to begin. I got a bachelor's degree without any loans because of Larry Miller. I've gotten a car. I have wonderful siblings, nephews and nieces. BUT, one of the things that i remember most: there have been a few times when my dad was without a job. The first time i was really young and all i remember is getting a box of gifts delivered to our house on christmas and i still have those gifts. The other time my grandma sent me a rather large check for back to school clothes shopping. Truly warmed my heart.
