Disney World Day 1

Saturday was another busy day and we were ready for Disney World!!!!
We started the day at Hollywood Studios!
The first thing we did was ride Hollywood Tower Hotel aka: Tower of Terror and got fast pass tickets for the Rock N' Roller coaster. After HTH we went to the toy story ride and waited in the most ridiculous line ever. It had moments of like 20 minutes of not taking a step. Annoying. But, it was cute. It was then time for rock n roller coaster with aerosmith. After that we made our way to Star Tours.

The Hollywood Tower Hotel is one of my favorites at California Adventure so I knew this was a favorite here. I love the attention to detail that Disney has. The outside of the building, the cob webbed decorations inside. I entered the twilight zone quite a few times over the trip.

The Rock N' Roller Coaster is a really fast ride. Like about a minute or shorter....
But, you go so fast and its a lot of fun. Dad loved this ride. They play Aerosmith music during the ride too.
Anyway, after Star Tours we decided it was time to park hop and go to Animal Kingdom!

Here we headed straight for the main attraction: Everest! It was only about 30-40 minute wait so we just got in line. The first time we road this, mom went with us. Only because she was given false information and was assured there was no big drop. Well....that isn't quite the case.

So, she wasn't super happy, but man, that ride was amazing. It's like the matterhorn in that there is a Yeti around and on this ride he ruined the track, so at one point you come to a stop and can see that the track literally ends. You then go backwards for a bit. Such a good ride. In my top 5 for sure!

Again, Disney is awesome because every line is so interesting. Everest had a yeti museum with real footprints and stuff....the yeti is out there!!!!
After Everest we got fast passes for later in the day to ride it again. I mostly wanted to ride again without mom so i could enjoy it and stop worrying about how much she is hating it. We made our way to DINOSAUR, which is basically like Indiana Jones but with dinosaurs...and no harrison ford. So, it wasn't as great as Indiana Jones, but it was still fun. We then made our way to the safari and enjoyed sitting while seeing some animals!!!

It was fun! After the safari we headed back to Everest and I LOVED it the second time. Even more if that was possible. And the fast pass was awesome. It took about 5 minutes total to get on the ride. Loved it.
Well, we had done all there was to do at Animal Kingdom, so....
we headed back to Hollywood studios! We rode rock n' and tower hotel again and caught the fantasmic show. It involved water, lights, actors and fireworks. It was pretty cool but it was a lot about the evil guys in the movies so that was a bummer. After that....we headed to Magic Kingdom!!!!
We got there at 10 pm, just in time for the fireworks!!!

We decided to buy most of the souvenirs and toys for my nieces and nephews at night so we wouldn't have to haul it all around later. After some shopping we were able to see the Electrical Parade!!!!

My cousin told us that we took Park Hopping to a WHOLE NEW LEVEL!!! I think it is quite the compliment! But, with 3 adults, we can skip all the kid rides and we get through the parks much faster. We got to the first park at 9 am and we were back at the hotel at midnight. It was an amazing day!
Disneyworld may just be the happiest place on earth....or one of the happiest places.
