Last day in California

Our last day in California has sadly arrived! It was our fourth day at Disneyland! We started at california adventure- i waited in line for fast passes for the cars ride and jeff waited in the cars line because it was actually a semi-short wait. We joined Jeff in line and the ride kept breaking down. Multiple times while we were in line. We finally got to the front and got in our car. We got to the seatbelt check and the ride broke down again. They made us get off and gave us fast passes for later. It was kind of...annoying!!! We were there for 2 hours!!!

 None of us had breakfast before and it was lunch by the time we escaped! I was a little hangry... So after we ate we went to the tower of terror and i grabbed fast passes and then we went to the muppet 3d show. I just think it's so cute and hilarious. Some one as in florida, and just a fun show! After the muppets i went on the Tower of Terror twice and then met the Hales at the cars ride and we rode that twice with our fast passes. I then went on screaming by myself and met back up for dinner.

After dinner we went back to disneyland and got Indiana Jones fast passes and then went to fantasy land for the Snow White ride- which is just awful! It ends unresolved... What?! It was stupid. Then we went on dumbo which the kids were most excited for and the matterhorn and this time Maci got to ride!

After all that we went on Star Tours and then I took the kids to the Winnie the Pooh ride and Jeff and Katie went on Haunted Mansion. The kids LOVED the winnie the pooh ride!!! So we went again! :) We met back up at Indiana Jones for our fast passes. Katie, Ashton and I went - we FINALLY convinced ashton to try the ride again and he agreed! We were the next group on the ride when it broke down. We were about to be devestated that one of our favorite rides and our last of the night would be closed when we were so close!!! But we waited it out and finally got to ride! And that was the end. I said goodbye to one of the happiest places on earth!

Day One in California

After months of planning our trip to California and Disneyland had finally arrived! I worked all day tuesday and flew in that night. Katie picked me up and we went to the hotel. To my surprise, we were quite close to the happiest place on earth...

I also got to see my most favorite ride everyday too! :)

So my first whole day arrived and i was up early- ready to get going and get on some rides!!!! We started with Indiana Jones (Jeff, Ashton and me) and Ashton said it scared him and refused to ride it ever again. What a great ride. Disney World needs to have Indiana Jones. It's just so much fun! Then all  of us went on Pirates and again the kids were not really fans. Ashton had been dying to go on Star Tours so we made our way over there and he was one happy kid! 

After Star Tours we hit up Buzz Lightyear and then had some lunch. I got a slice of pizza and a pudding cup for $12. NO JOKE. The pizza wasn't even all that amazing...haha. Oh well.  After lunch Katie, Maci and I went on Space Mountain which had been altered to Ghost Galaxy for the halloween month. It plays scary music and has scary pictures on the walls. I prefer regular space mountain.... The kids were scared too which is a bummer since that ride is so awesome!

Katie and I rode a second time with the other fast passes since Jeff and Ashton didn't want to ride. 

It was a cool and rainy day which actually made the crowds small so it was really nice and wait times were low too. We rode on the Matterhorn and the stingy ride people wouldn't let Maci ride because she was a cm too short. So Jeff stayed off with her and then we went on small world. We finally hopped over to California Adventure for Tower of Terror. After this we were soaked, tired and hungry! We walked across the street to Ihop and Maci was out all through dinner.
