Its the Most Wonderful Time of the Year

December! How did 2013 go by so fast? It's crazy! December started with the birth of Rex in Texas; making me an aunt to 10! He's adorable and looks just like his sister Charley.
The first week of December my parents were in warm and beautiful Hawaii while we had a giant snow storm here. The snowblower didn't work and my neighbor spent an hour or more trying to help me with it at 10pm with no luck. Yikes. The first weekend was the Marketing Conference for me at work. All of our external marketing reps come in and we have meetings and trainings and get to know everyone better. For the first night we all went up past Kamas for a horse drawn sleigh ride. It was 0 degrees and they told us we had to dress nice so no one was really prepared for the frigid cold we experienced. Was it a cool opportunity to go dashing through the snow in a two horse open sleigh during Christmas time? Absolutely.

After the sleigh ride we went to cabin for dinner

I work with some fabulous people! We have so much fun and i've only been a part of this department for about 4 months!
Kamry and I had a reunion at a Jazz game which is fun. We hadn't seen each other in over a year so it was good to catch up and resolve to be better at getting together.

December also means Mormon Tabernacle Choir Christmas concerts!!!! It was been such a wonderful experience to have my dad in the choir and to be able to go to the concerts multiple times a year. Each time i go i'm so glad i have the chance.

It was also Ashton's birthday and his party was at The Wairhouse - a trampoline gym. It was a lot of fun - exhausting and i re-injured my back, but still fun.

Other December highlights include: making gingerbread and sugar cookies, reuniting with friends from High School, Caroling with the family, Krumkake, buying a new car, getting chinese take out on Christmas Eve, face timing with the Texas Tobler's on Christmas morning, Christmas, going to the movies, reuniting with the Laurels from my ward growing up and an uneventful New Years Eve.
